Riding the mini buses and taking in the local scenery.  I love the glimpse of water as you whiz down the road. And of course, Ri Ri.

fun in the sun

Barbados was a delight...my favorite Caribbean island thus far.  The weather was stellar, the food was delicious and the scenery was lovely.  I laughed constantly, drank entirely too much (hey..it's vacation!) and returned to DC refreshed but exhausted.  Vacation at it's best, no?

riveting rooms

The rest of the kitchen isn't shabby either.  It's also major inspiration for how cool our kitchen could be if we got rid of all the builder grade crap.  Who doesn't want poured concrete floors, marble counter tops and a double stove and decorative skulls everywhere?
